Gateway manufactures many different styles of cabinetry, listed below are the following style types available, call a designer at (204)989-6140 for more information about our styles of cabinetry.

Frameless: Gateway’s standard for European-style cabinets, resembles a box. Sides, back, top and bottom are made from particleboard panels, wood veneer, or melamine. Doors on frameless cabinetry usually completely overlay the cabinet box with only a slight reveal between them, offering an unbroken appearance.

Frame: As the name implies, frame-style cabinets have a hardwood frame on the face of the cabinet box. This frame masks the edges of the sides, adds rigidity to the cabinet and provides a strong base. Frame-style construction gives the cabinet a more “solid” look.

Inset: Inset cabinet construction is exactly the same as our frame-style cabinetry, however the doors are inset between the frames. There is no overlay on top of the frame which gives it a more “flush” look.

Beaded Inset: Beaded-inset construction is exactly the same as our inset-style but with an extra profile around the inside of the door opening, which further enhances the look. Beaded-inset is Gateway’s most prestigious line of cabinetry.
